How often do I need to pay dues, and what does it go towards?

Dues are paid annually, on January 1st. Dues go towards insurance, landscaping, electrical/lighting, utilities, and other expenses. The annual Treasurer's Report includes all expenses in detail. 

What is needed if I want to make changes to my house, like painting it a different color, removing trees, changing fencing, or other significant changes?

What activities does the community participate in?

Deer Creek celebrates the National Night Out, where you can meet with your neighbors and enjoy ice cream and other goodies. The local police and fire departments also come meet with children from time to time, sometimes with an appearance by McGruff. The Deer Creek Homeowners' page on Facebook is a great place to stay in touch, and the Deer Creek Book Club information is accessible there as well. There are also other community events--the Facebook group is the best way to keep track of upcoming events.

What are some of the key requirements all residents need to know about?

The speed limit in Deer Creek is 25MPH, drivers should use caution at all times
HOA Due notices are sent well in advance and are due on the first of the year.
The CCR's must be read in full and followed: Deer Creek enforces the CCR's, including policies regarding yard maintenance, vehicles, trash/collection bins, etc
